The Cuttlebrook flows into the River Blythe
which has a SSSI status. There is wheelchair access into the river so all
pupils can 'dip' together.

The lake was one of a pair of Victorian fish
ponds, the other now heavily silted up was in the South reserve. The
remaining lake was dredged clear by Severn Trent in 2001 and restocked
with Roach and Rudd a year later. In the summer of 2006 a management
training team from Corrus rebuilt the platform over the lake giving pupils a
ducks eye view over the water.
