Booking
Springfield is a centre dedicated to working with pupils with SEN, especially those pupils with sensory or physical disabilities. Priority is therefore given to those schools in the SEN sector demonstrating their intention to use visits to Springfield as an integral part of their children’s education. Mainstream schools with similar needs or access problems are invited to apply but should give details as to why they should be included on a Springfield programme. Schools with SEN units or who are developing or have developed links with special schools should also give details at the time of application.

Sessions
Whole-day teaching sessions can be booked by schools on any day during school term time.

The Centre can also be booked by groups during school holiday time and weekends.

Ratios
Actual ratios of pupils:adults will depend on the Visit Leaders own risk assessment.

Birmingham City Council Schools:
Whole Day Session  - £67

Non-Birmingham Schools:
Whole Day Session - £134

Prices will increase April 2010.
